Proper Face

Here is the correct speedo for a 1967 Mini Cooper 's'. It has the correct markings up to 120mph, with several tick marks after. This is generally referred to as 120+mph.

Backing

This is the speedo housing back. There are rubber bits that ft into the holes, but they were cracked and fell apart when I pulled it all apart. I'm thinking that I need to take this baby to a professional...

Disassembled

Here is my speedo guts. Note spring thats been sprung!

Odo & Face

Here is the odometer guts. I had considered pulling the assembly apart, and then thought better of it. Using WD-40 was a mistake, because the solvents in it are damaging to the numbers (made of some sort of plastic, I believe).

Close-up

It's BACK!!!

Here is my newly rebuilt 120+mph speedometer! Yay! Isn't she beautiful...?
