Seams

Here are the seams, stripped and ready for POR. My father in law came up with the idea of using nails through cardboard to allow the paint to not get marred. It worked very well!

Seat Frames

I hung the frames between my ladder and motorcycle ramp to get them off the ground for spraying with Krylon Industrial Paint.

Knocking Hinges

Using small diameter bolt with the threads ground off, I was able to knock out the hinge pins.

Pin Out

This is what the pin looks like, knocked out of the hinge.

Paint Strip

Using a wire wheel on the bench grinder, the paint came off the hinges VERY easily!

Puzzles

The hinges have to go together with each other, no mixing, as each hinge is unique to its location on the door. The bottoms of the hinges have numbers that key to each other.

Coated

A nice coat of POR-15 should protect and keep these hinges from rusting in the future.
