The problem is that I got so excited about the progress I was making, I forgot to take a pic of the new interior patch! I did re-POR the interior to replace any POR-15 that cooked off during welding. The completed repair is good, both inside and out. |

Cleaning Begins |

After scouring the metal surface with the new wheel from Eastwood, I treated the area with Metal Ready. An interesting yellow mucousy material was a byproduct of the reaction, but it all washed off. I then coated the section with POR-15. I'll weld in the valance after cleaning and coating the entire underside with POR-15. |
